Registration for everyone else will remain open until April / May.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out our detailed registration form. This is the only time we require attendees to provide information in advance of the event.

The Wikimedia Hackathon 2020 has no registration fee, so in exchange we request that you take the time to thoughtfully provide responses to our questions and think through your plan for the event.

Bourses

Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on their relevance to the event’s Focus Areas, their plan or project for the event, their volunteer contributions to our Wikimedia Technical Spaces in the last year, their interest and verbalized plan around joining as a mentor, or their involvement in pieces of the event’s organization. People requesting a scholarship from Albania and the Balkan's region will have a good chance to get a scholarship, so please don’t hesitate to register.

The 2020 Scholarship decision committee will consist of representatives from the Open Labs organizing team, WMF, some technical community volunteer representatives, and any organization contributing funds to the process (currently WMDE). Other affiliates may run their own scholarship processes within their communities.

The scholarship committee will be facilitated by Rachel Farrand (WMF) and will consist of:

  • Sidorela (Open Labs/Albanie)
  • Mariana (Open Labs/Albanie)
  • Nafie (Open Labs/Albanie)
  • Lea (WMDE)
  • Marios (bénévole)
  • Tobias (bénévole)
  • Lars (bénévole)
  • Srishti (Developer Advocate, WMF)
