About me

I joined the Wikimedia Foundation as a Software Engineer in June 2024, primarily focussed on the Frontend side of things. My coding journey started when tables were commonly used, and IFrames were just beginning to fall out of favor. In my previous roles, I was particularly recognized for my development speed and Easter Eggs.

I live with my cat Silver and my girlfriend in Zwolle. I enjoy playing basketball, bouldering, and surfing, particularly in Portugal or France. I also love visiting my family in Mirepoix, France and going on hikes. Some of my favorite hiking experiences include the Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand and the Pico do Areeiro - Pico Ruivo hike in Madeira.

My work

I am part of the Abstract Wikipedia team, a project that aims to create a language-independent Wikipedia using Wikidata and Natural Language Generation functions.
