Chinese-English Translation not working

12

I am attempting to translate an article from Chinese into English, however the Chinese text replicates itself and does not turn into English on the right column. However the translation works when I try English-Chinese.

Why is the Chinese not translating into English, what do I need to do to make this functional?

See Topic:Uas7z3lf379cp60t: Can you please Implement google translate as one of the options for the translate tool. Keep in mind, You are offering Your email address to the developer of scripts, You are embedding. This will help You use Google translator inside the CXT. After pressing CTRL+ALT on a new section, it will be translated to be refined by You. Note: it sometimes saved the automatic change after a manual further edit of the section.

This is the only way to do such a translation at this time?

I am sorry but I do not see changes by pasting the link after I refreshed my browser. What am I doing wrong?

Does putting the link in my profile give my information to Google? Thanks for providing the link.

Yes, it is using https://translate.google.com/ to use it, click a section in the CXT, to copy it from left to middle column. Mark the all text in the section and hit CTRL+ALT while the text is selected. The refine the result manually and see if the autosave "saved just now" appears more than once before leaving the translation. Logout an login to Wikipedia again after modifying Yourvector.js page.

After following your instructions these features still do not work. Ill continue to go through your instructions to see if I missed anything.

GoogleTrans gadget's CTRL-ALT Content Translation feature does not work in Edge, but will work in IE11, Firefox, and Chrome.

Your vector.js appears to be installed correct. It might be not working on all web browsers. Google Chrome or Chromium and Firefox should not have problems. Adjust the CXT to copy the source section to the middle column when clicking the empty section. Mark the text of the new section or a single sentence of it and hold right CTRL key and hit the left ALT key on keyboard. The section should be translated immediately.

This solves my problem. Thank you for your patience in explaining!
