Requested user-rights: Transwiki importer.
  • I, Skizzerz (talk · contribs), wish to request Importer rights. There is a whole slew of great documentation that is not on meta, and as such it cannot be ported over here easily while maintaining the terms of the GFDL. If I had this right, I would be able to Export the documentation pages that really stand out as being good from those wikis (if they have a compatible license) and Import them here by file upload. I hope you consider my request and if you have any additional questions feel free to ask me :) (also, I'm not sure but I think this may require a Steward on meta to carry out said promotion). --Skizzerz talk - contribs 20:10, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Import group cannot be given by local bureaucrats, you'll need to ask a steward on meta:SRP. iAlex 20:15, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    You can use Special:Import with admin rights — VasilievVV 20:16, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've asked on SRP, but after reading the heading thingie a bit more closely, there needs to be some sort of agreement on this wiki that I should get the rights before a Steward will make their decision. --Skizzerz talk - contribs 15:01, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Skizzerz is a trusted Wikian and a developer. I have no problem with him having importer rights here. --Sayuri 15:10, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
