Extension talk:SpriteSheet

About this board

Hi !

Very nice extension here, thanks !

However, is there a limit for the number of tiles per spritesheet ? I'm currently trying to implement the Minecraft wiki's spritesheets using your extension(https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/File:InvSprite.png) but it seems to take forever to update the fields Column/Row/Inset : The loading circle is showing after click on save but nothing happens even after >10minutes. Is there a limit ? Or should I wait more ?

Regards,

Sorry to "bump" this but I think I misunderstood what my issue was.

It is NOT related to the size of the file neither the number of sprites. However, it seems that once the number of sprites is set and saved, it is not possible to edit these settings again. Or am i missing something ?

edit and deleting sprite names is also not possible =/

Btw, I'm running MediaWiki 1.33

Thanks in advance for your help.

mw.Api error: internal_api_error_DBQueryError

Hi, I am getting an error that just says the title. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to debug this. I have two copies - a local and a working, on the local copy which is a completely fresh installation, I can create spritesheets and create new named slices, but when I try to edit or delete the named slice nothing happens and just gives the same error.

On the working copy, I cannot create a new spritesheet at all and just get the error. Help!

I should also note this is the only error I can find.

Trouble using the #sprite parser

Interesting extension that can be make wiki life a little easier!

Unfortunately, it didn't work for me after I installed it and ran update.php. The #slice parser is working fine, but the #sprite parser simply displays an error box saying "SpriteSheet 1.1.5".

That is rather strange. I am not even sure how to reproduce that error. I can look into this, but I I will probably need more information. Can I get a link to the wiki where you are using this?

My bad - I finally had time to revisit this and discovered that someone had modified css to hide the file links. That's all really!
