I don't know where exactly to add my idea, but here goes. From bugzilla (bugzilla:3234):

So generally, it would be nice to have an enhanced notification system that
would allow users to be notified about almost anything that concerns them.

Permissions emails

Being emailed when you've been blocked, granted admin powers, or similar things would also be a useful feature. For the blocking email, it would of course give the reason within the message text, and the reply-to address could perhaps be the blocking admin's email address so you can get straight back to them regarding the issue. Extend edit-user-talk notification to include edits to all subpages of an editor's user page

Being notified on-wiki whenever changes are made by a 3rd party to any User sub-page would seem both sensible and logical. It would quickly flag up vandalism, or accidental misposting, or discussions held legitimately on one of those sub-pages (e.g. detailed collaborative working that's best kept off one's main talk page). Limiting such notifications to just one's main userpage and talk page seems flawed. Six or more years ago this was raised as an issue, and someone undertook to address it. I did raise this again a year ago, however nothing ever came of it. Maybe this idea could be revived?
