Neither version seems to make two columns. It looks like this. --PurplePopple 18:39, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I'm fixing it so that it will make 'n' columns on the first code section. You need to supply your database information for the top part of the first one, and change the links from localhost, to whatever you wiki's address is. --Kyle van der Meer 15:29, 19 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
I just cleaned up the document, but noticed after I saved it I hadn't logged in. Ohwell. Anyhow nothing special needs to be done to set up the first version. I also straightened up the syntax a bit. --Kyle van der Meer 22:20, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Needed

[edit]

Hey, if anyone knows how to pull the mysql hostname, database, password, and user from what wiki has already declared, feel free to throw it in. --Kyle van der Meer 16:12, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Finished that --Kyle van der Meer 22:20, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Also, if anyone knows how to pass something like <categorylinks 5/> and have it do 5 columns, that's be great --Kyle van der Meer 16:12, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tag problem (Solved)

[edit]

I was having a problem with the second version of this extension, as it would not generate any lists. However I discovered the problem was that I was typing <categorylinks> on the page to call the extension, but when i changed the tag to <CategoryLinks> it started to work. Just thought I would pass on this information to anybody who may have this problem. --V85rawdeal 13:13, 27 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Calling the extension

[edit]

<categorylinks> cannot be used to call the extension. The tag needs to be closed, otherwise the rest of the page is not properly parsed. Use <categorylinks /> instead. Kyle van der Meer 22:36, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
