I have this at the beginning of LocalSettings.php :
error_reporting( E_ALL );
ini_set( 'display_errors', 1 );
and at the end :
$wgShowError = true;
$wgShowErrors = true;
$wgShowSQLError = true;
$wgShowSQLErrors = true;
$wgShowException = true;
$wgShowExceptions = true;
$wgShowExceptionDetails = true;
$wgDebugComments = true;
$wgDebugLogFile = "/var/log/mediawiki/logfile.log";
no errors in /var/log/apache2/error.log
